3 System Requirements
SkyTools
3 is fully compatible with Windows 7 and Windows Vista
(both 32 and 64 bit
versions). Also compatible with
Windows XP/98/NT4/2000 or a Mac running a Windows
emulator.
Minimum
system requirements: Pentium II 233, CD-ROM drive, a minimum screen resolution
of 800x600. Requires a minimum of approximately 20MB of hard
disk space; 650 MB of hard drive space is required for
full install (so the CD is not required).
Access
to the Professional Edition extended star data requires a
DVD-ROM
drive plus 4.8 GB of hard drive space.
Recommended system:
Pentium 4 or better with 512 MB of RAM, 650 MB of hard
drive space is required for full install (so the CD is not
required).
Real Time requirements: ASCOM
5, a freely available third party telescope control standard
platform. Note that ASCOM 5 regrettably no longer
supports Windows 98 (or SE/ME).
