For the southern hemisphere & possibly Hawaii the minor planet 2021 UW1 will make a close approach on the evening of Oct 30 ~2300. The Interactive Atlas chart showing the path of the MP is attached below as is the Observing List that contains info about the pass.
Hopefully someone will be able to look for it,

Thanks Phil, last night we had 2 inches of rain...it's our wet season and according to the forecast, there is a 70-80% chance of it being wetter than average.
And no, I haven't purchased any new equipment to invoke the astronomer's curse!
