Location, Location, Location... - Telescopist - 2021-08-06

Hi Greg,

I'm sure that you are the only one who can answer this question. In my version of ST - 4.0j R2 - Current Comets is found in the Default folder. Is there a way of moving this list to the Current folder? Actually I tried but it didn't take.

Hi Dick,

Have you tried to L-clk on the Current Comets OL & hold the button down, then drag the OL from the Default to the Current folder? Have you already tried this & the Current Comets folder didn't stay in the Current folder where you just put it?

You're right - only Greg can answer why your Current Comets OL is located in the Default folder instead of where it should be.

Hope this helps,

Phil S.

Damn. That worked! I never had a clue how the letter "L" played a role in moving a list.

Thanks brother.

Another way to move a list to another folder is to select it in the list selection tool, click View/Edit, and then change the Folder at the top, followed by Ok.

That was the method I tried first but it didn't 'take'. However, I just created  a test list in the Default folder and was able to move it to the Current folder via View/Edit. Go figure... I like the shortcut "L/click". Pretty cool.
