Sharing Observing list?
#1
Hi Greg,

Are we able, and encouraged, to upload observing lists that we create?

If we are, how do we achieve this?

I have the following lists from handbooks to contribute, mostly for Southern Hemisphere observers really.

Deep Sky Companions - Southern Gems, Stephen O'Meara
Deep Sky Companions - The Secret Deep, Stephen O'Meara
Pearls of the Southern Skies - Dieter Willasch & Auke Slotegraaf
Objects in the Heavens - Peter Birren Naoyuki Kurita
Clear skies!

Hi Chris,

Observing Lists are always welcome and appreciated. I have a plan to allow people to share lists via our web site, through SkyTools, eventually. In the meantime, feel free to post there here as attached files. Thanks!
Clear skies,

Thanks Greg,

Just 3 files actually as the Objects in the Heavens is already available.

They work for me, I just hope they are useful for others.

Chris are these ST3 or ST4 lists as I understand trying to use ST4 lists in ST3 is a very bad thing.

Hi Owen, the lists were generated using SkyTools 4 Visual version 4.0j R1

Greg would need to comment on using them in Skytools 3.
Clear skies!
