Check object in Planner list with ENTER key?
#1
I'll be the first to admit a bad memory but in ST3 couldn't an object in a Planner observing list be checked by highlighting it and then ENTER? Doesn't seem to work in my ST4. Is there another convenient way to check an object? Using the mouse for this can be tedious.

Yes, Use the arrow keys to go up and down the list, then press the S key to check/uncheck.

Hi Greg,
I did check, but this shortcut is not in the Keyboard shortcuts in the helpfile.

Well thank you, ledge. That solves it for me.

A pleasure to be of service. I must admit, I used to think the mouse was going to be much quicker, but I find this a much easier way as the highlighted line shows which object you are selecting Smile

I can be clumsy with the mouse so up and down arrows and S key are a must.

Also, Steve, if you have multiple items in a row that you want to Check, you can Check the first one, then move down to the last one, hold the Shift key & Click on the last item. All items in between will be Checked. This doesn't seem to work if you highlight the object & press the 'S' key as ledge described.

Appologies if you were already aware of this trick.

That's one I did know, Phil, but thanks for adding it to the thread. Someone reading this will find that useful.

Steve

Edit: I should clarify that Phil's shortcut was one I knew back when the only trigger key I was aware of was ENTER. I haven't used it for a while since I had not found the S key for checking objects.
