Database power search voice audio
#1
ST 4 Visual SE 4.0j R14 on Windows 11

Just curious - Is it possible to adjust the volume or disable the "Search complete" voice prompt that happens after every database power search? I know I can turn down the system volume but I need it up for other things.

Thanks.

Start SkyTools. Right-click on the volume icon on the Windows taskbar, usually found in the bottom right. Open the Volume Mixer. Scroll to SkyTools and adjust the volume.

Thanks. I was attempting to do it the other way, from ST.

I get how those "Search complete" prompts can be a bit annoying, especially if you need your system volume up for other tasks. Unfortunately, it's often a system-level setting that's tricky to adjust within specific applications.
If you haven't already, you might want to check the app's settings or reach out to their support for any available options. You could also explore Windows 11 sound settings, but that might affect other notifications too.
BTW, if you're looking for Windows 11, you can check out https://digitalchillmart.com/product/win...32-64-bit/. Always good to have access to legit sources!
