required (Starter and Standard Editions).
The SkyTools
Imaging or Visual Professional Edition extended star data
requires 4.8 GB of hard drive space.

Windows desktop, laptop computer, or Windows tablet, with 4 GB
of RAM.
Telescope Control requirements:
ASCOM 5 or Alpaca, a freely available third party
telescope control platform.
Windows
11/10 S: In its default state, Windows S only allows
software to be installed via the Windows Store. SkyTools is not
available via the Windows Store. The store-only mode can be
disabled in order to install SkyTools. See Disable
Windows S Mode
Need to
run SkyTools on a Mac? Consider a Windows emulator. Parallels
Desktop for Mac lets you seamlessly run Windows and Mac OS X
side-by-side. Other products that work well with SkyTools are VMware
Fusion and CrossOver,
but any emulator should work. |
