Help in setting up Imaging System
#2
Hello,

You should be able to find data files for your filters. Word isn't best. Use something like Notepad to make a simple text file and read the data pairs from that.

Do a search on the forum for your filters by name. There is also a thread with a lot of filter data here:

For the QE data, sample the outer envelope of the three colors. It might help to print out the graph and draw in a smooth curve that connects each of the three color profiles, smoothly, ignoring the dips between the filters. The sample your curve.

The external guide scope separation is going to take some ingenuity. One possibility is to center a star in the main field, and then look at the images from the guider to see if you can identify the field of view. Once you do, determine the star closest to the center of the guider field of view, then use the atlas to show both the star centered in the main scope and the one in the center of the guider. Right-click on the star in the scope and select "Angular Measure." Drag the measurement tool to the star in the guider, and then read off the separating between the two at the bottom of the Atlas window.
