I performed a sync from SkyTools 3 (imaging and visual version) to SkyTools 4 semi-successfully. My old data shows up fine in SkyTools 4 Visual, but nothing is imported into SkyTools 4 Imaging - where I do most of my work. It would really be great to have my old telescope, camera, lists, and images in the new version.
Thanks for your help.

Hello Edward,
The problem is that SkyTools 4 Imaging is an entirely new product. Everything except for locations and and optical tube assemblies are much expanded and radically different. Unfortunately there is no way around that. Imagine we tired to import a very limited SkyTools 3 camera into SkyTools 4. How would the gain settings be handled? Or for that matter, how would the filters be defined for the imaging system? The timings? Control system? There is no way to do all of this without more or less starting over.
You can import your lists, but many of those have been updated too. Best to find standard lists at the website and re download them. For custom lists, export each of them from ST3 as an stx file and then import them into st4.
Clear skies,
Greg
