Hello,
Polaris Australis is a common name in SkyTools, so you just need to check how your common names display is set up in SkyTools.
If you are talking about a chart label, open the chart and the the "View" controls via the button at the top. Select the Labels tab and ensure that the star labels are turned on and that labels in general are turned on.
On the right side of that same dialog you can control what labels are displayed. Stars should already be selected. Ensure that Common Names has a red check mark next to it and that it is the top item in the list. Also ensure that the check box next to "use well known common star names only" is not checked.
If you are talking about other than a chart, see the Labels tab on the Preferences, opened via the Setup menu at the top of the planner.
