When I open the Log Browser for some entries for the moon, I see this:
I also have some logs for comets & minor planets.
Perhaps the corruption that you're getting is related to the issue you mentioned in the description of the problem caused by the program taking focus from your log entries & applying them to other program commands by mistake.
