Hi razvan,
This looks like one for you! Max brightness of 16.1 mag on the morning of Oct 10, but in daylight. I calculated the ephemeris for Siding Spring because I don't know where you're at in Australia. It's too far south for me & probably for BMD as well. This is a pretty good advanced warning. Usually they're right on top of us or past us like 2021 TV1 which also reached ~16 mag on Oct 3.
Today's DBPS search found 34 objects within 0.05 AU on Oct 9, another record. Perhaps the hunting is better now that the northern hemisphere has more dark time for the searches.
Good luck,
Phil S.

Hi razvan,
I guess I got you mixed up with Dennis in Brisbane or ledge (George) who's in either Au or NZ, sorry. Yea 2021 TT1 is even worse for you in Canada. It looks like a good one though. Maybe someone can spot it.

What size scope are y'all using to image or observe TT1? It's low, bad phase angle and maybe 17th mag when moving towards us in the dark!
Phil, did you get all the goblins out of you ST4?

Cool! I've got a custom made (by me) 13" Dob that has a re-figured 13.1 Coulter mirror in it (Paul Jones of Star Instruments). Sling mounted but on a 9pt cell. He also made my 24" glass when he was in Flagstaff in another custom Dob, driven by an Andy Sauleitis alt/az chain drive.
BTW, have you taken a look at the new GUI at Horizons? Especially the Orbit Viewer. It has really been revamped.

Hi Dennis,
Sorry to hear that you were clouded out. That happens so often. Since you're interested, in the future I mention MPs that are SH only on the forum for you folks down under. Or are you on top?
2021 TT1 was movin' right along for sure. Apparently the iTelescopes have mounts that can track MPs & comets. My success using them has been poor.
